Operatives may take their sweet time in guessing, but if the spymasters want to heighten the pressure they may use an hourglass to limit the time. The game concludes when a team successfully gathers all their spies, however it may also end if one of the operatives accidentally pick the code name of the assassin – making their opponent the winning team. With each turn, a spymaster gives a one word clue (relating to one or many of their own spies) and the number of spies the clue relates to. They must employ their best poker faces too: not even an ounce of emotion must be betrayed as their operative tries to figure out which card to pick based on the clue given.
